Your Spiritual Allies: Who Will Come Through to Me in a Reading?

Whenever I give mediumship readings, I always begin by letting the sitter know that there are never any guarantees.

Naturally, when people come to a reading, they might want to hear from a specific person in the spirit world or arrive with an expectation of who might come through. The truth is, I have no idea who will appear in your reading! But I do know that whoever does come through will do so for your highest good. When I open up to spirit, I ask for those who need to bring you messages at this moment to step forward. This opens the door to a whole host of people coming through, and the right person will deliver the messages that you need at that moment.

Let me ask you:

• If you had problems with your car, who would you call?

• If you wanted to chat with someone who could lift your spirits, who would that be?

• If you needed relationship advice, who would you reach out to?

Chances are, those people would all be different. You might call your best friend for an uplifting chat but wouldn’t necessarily ring them for mechanical advice!

It works the same way in the spirit world. If your aunt was amazing at giving sage advice on the Earth plane, chances are she’ll be the one to do the same from the spirit world.

If your mum was a nurturing soul who always enveloped you in love, she will likely continue doing the same from the other side.

Your team on the other side works together to bring you what you need at the time of your reading—always for your highest good.

There are many types of helpers who may come into a reading to offer you guidance. Just some of these are:

Close relatives and friends – Our loved ones who have passed get just as much from a reading as we do. They love to communicate with us! It can take them a little while to learn how to do this from the other side, so my job as a medium is to be the messenger for them.

Ancestors – This can be a little trickier, as you may not know the details of your ancestors for me to give evidential mediumship. Nevertheless, they can and do give us guidance and support. Your ancestors are a part of your DNA—a part of your bloodline, and your story as a wonderful, beautiful human. Why wouldn’t they want to help you?!

Guides and angels – Our guides and angels love to help us on our soul’s journey. They have so much wisdom and protection to offer us if we ask them. We have free will, which means they can only help if invited. But boy, do they step in as soon as we push that button! Your guides and angels sometimes communicate with you during a reading to offer support and guidance, and to introduce themselves. This can help you begin to connect with and work alongside these wonderful heavenly helpers.

Animal guides – Did you know that animal guides work with us and can communicate during readings?

Animals don’t just exist in the physical world—they also exist in the spiritual one. You may have many animal spirit guides throughout your life. They could be symbolic animal guides or beloved pets who’ve crossed over. They come in and out of your life during moments of need to offer guidance, protection, balance, power, and wisdom.

Your Higher Self – This is the part of your soul that remains in the spirit world when we incarnate on Earth.

Your higher self is the deepest, most authentic part of you—a connection to your soul that exists beyond the physical form and ego. In a reading, your higher self may step forward to bring wisdom and a deeper understanding of your purpose and the meaning of your life.

The possibilities truly are endless when you are open during a reading. The very best thing you can do is come with an open mind and heart. The more open you are to receiving guidance, the more you will receive!
